I got up this morning still thinking about Steve McQueen’s beautiful and atmospheric ‘Lovers Rock’. It’s the 2nd film in his ‘Small Axe’ series.
Andrew Tenzer and I talk a lot about holistic thinking. Orlando Wood calls it ‘right brain thinking’. ‘Lovers Rock’ is truly holistic film making. I can still feel the tingle as I became immersed in the blues party, signing in unison to Janet Kay’s ‘Silly Games’.
Advertisers can learn a lot from this film. But, holistic advertsing is hard. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it…..
